For more information on membership at Windermere Golf and Country Club, please contact our General Manager Mike Kenney at 780.988.5501 ext. 102.
Member Categories
You can become a member at Windermere by either purchasing a share or playing as an associate member. A shareholder member pays for the share, an entrance fee, that portion of the shareholder levy remaining and their membership fees. They are a member until they sell their share. An associate member has the same privileges and responsibilities as a shareholder member, excluding a vote at Club meetings and serving on the Board of Directors, but only has membership at Windermere from the spring until the golfing season comes to an end. We also offer spousal and dependent memberships as well as a sponsored junior program for selected individuals that meet the criteria as set by our Board of Directors and Junior Committee.
Windermere Golf and Country Club is proud to offer an Elite Program. This program is open to five eligible aspiring players with hopes of securing a future in professional golf. They will meet criteria as set by our Member Services & Activities Committee. This year, our Elite players are Barrett Jarosch, Ryan Lecuyer and Steven Lecuyer. Their dedication to the game of golf and the membership has been outstanding.
Share Availability
From time to time shares do come available. Member’s may sell their shares privately although most members do enlist the aid of the administrative office. We currently have a waiting list and do our very best to match interested parties with shareholder members that wish to sell their shares.
Shares are currently trading for $22,000 to $23,000. This purchase price does fluctuate throughout the season; with the majority of shares coming onto the market in January and February of each year.
The entrance fee is $8600 (plus GST) as a one time payment (plus GST).
